Cricket bat sizing questions
1 measurement starts the process: height. Use the calculator, then check the questions that apply to your purchase.
Check your size →What size cricket bat does a 10-year-old need?
Measure their height first. For example, Kookaburra lists Size 3 at 137 to 145 cm and Size 4 at 145 to 152 cm. Age alone does not choose between them.
What does Harrow mean?
Harrow is a size between numbered junior bats and adult options. Its height band varies by maker. Kookaburra lists 165 to 170 cm; check the brand you are buying.
Is Small Adult the same as Academy?
Both names can describe an intermediate adult option, but do not assume the dimensions match. Newbery lists Academy at 5 ft 7 to 5 ft 9. Compare the actual maker's measurements.
Does a left-handed player need a different bat size?
No. Use the same height chart. Compare handle feel in your normal batting stance rather than selecting length by batting hand.
Can I save sizes for more than one child?
Yes. Saved players lets you keep separate profiles on this device. Use nicknames and update each height when needed. You can export or delete the saved profiles.
Do you earn money from the maker links?
Not at present. They are ordinary links to the makers, not affiliate links. This site does not sell bats or promise stock availability.
