Pilot terms
Terms of use
Last updated 31 August 2026. We will publish the legal operator identity and service address before real submissions open.
What BatFit provides
BatFit provides independent, remote cricket bat fitting guidance. A Bat Passport is a recommendation based on the details supplied, deterministic rules and human review. It is not a guarantee of performance, comfort, durability, stock availability or suitability for every circumstance.
Your responsibilities
- Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Upload only media you have the right and permission to provide.
- Use a parent or guardian for every junior fitting.
- Carry out a safe physical check before using any bat where practical.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive or unnecessary sensitive material.
Retailer introductions
BatFit is not the seller of a matched bat unless a page explicitly states otherwise. The retailer remains responsible for product description, stock, price, payment, delivery, returns and statutory consumer rights. A retailer may pay BatFit a fixed £25 pilot fee for a consented lead it accepts. Payment does not change match order.
Free pilot and availability
The fitting is free during the pilot. We aim to review complete submissions within two business days, but this is a service target rather than a guaranteed deadline. We may pause submissions, ask for clarification, decline unusable media or end the pilot.
Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, BatFit is not responsible for a buying decision made contrary to the stated caveats, for a retailer's acts, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
