Safeguarding is part of the product.

Guardian-led by default

• A junior fitting requires a parent or guardian email and confirmation.
• Confirmation and private result emails go to the parent or guardian.
• A retailer introduction uses the guardian contact, not a child's private email.
• There is no player account, public profile, messaging feature or public footage gallery.

Junior footage is paused

The pilot accepts structured junior fittings but does not accept junior video or images. We will only add junior media after a separate guardian-email verification step has been implemented and tested.

Adult footage is reviewed only for the limited fitting purpose. It is never forwarded to a retailer and is scheduled for deletion 14 days after review.

What BatFit does not do

• We do not privately coach, message or arrange meetings with a child.
• We do not assess a child's talent or publish performance judgments.
• We do not use junior footage to train a model or create marketing content.
• We do not promise that remote guidance replaces an in-person check where the fit is uncertain.

Raise a concern

A parent or guardian can stop the fitting, request deletion or report a concern at any time by emailing safeguarding@cricketbatsizeguide.co.uk. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or the appropriate safeguarding authority where you live.
